ENTRY CRITERIA

In the event of an excess of 141 entries being received the following criteria will be applied to all entries
received from the opening to the closing date of entries;
(6.0)First Priority Entries will be as shown in Article 7 of Appendix 31 of the MI year book. Previous winners of
the event.
(6.1)Up to 10 entries allocated at organiser’s discretion.
(6.2)Up to 40 entries allocated to D.M.C members of the basis of points accumulated(subject to no change of
crew)
(6.3)First 3 in class in the Border Championship 2008 at close of entries.
(6.4)Up to 5 entries allocated to former winners of Border or National Championship O/A awards.
(6.5)Finishing in the first 20 O/A on a National stages Rally.
(6.6)Finishing in the first 20 O/A on an International Rally.
(6.7)Finishing in the first 3 in class on a National stages Rally.
(6.8)Finishing in the first 3 in class on an International Rally.
(6.9)Finishing in the first 20 O/A on any other stage rally.
(6.10)Finishing in the first 3 in class on any other stage rally.
(6.11)Finishing in the first 3 in class on any other speed event(e.g. Hill Climbs, Sprints).

* Results from 1st Jan. 2006 to closing date of entries to count except in relation to no’s 6.0, 6.1, 6.2 &
6.4 above.
* Only results attained by the driver as a driver will be taken into consideration.
* The onus will rest with the competitor to provide documentary proof of results stated if requested to
do so by the organisers.
* Any false declaration of results will result in the entry in question being placed at the end of the list.

CLASSES

Class 1: Group N up to 1400 cc
Class 2: Group N 1401 cc to 1600 cc
Class 3: Group N 1601 cc to 2000 cc
Class 4: Group N over 2000 cc
Class 5: Group A up to 1400 cc
Class 6: Group A 1401 cc to 1600 cc
Class 7: Group A 1601 cc to 2000 cc
Class 8: Group A over 2000 cc
Class 9: Modified cars up to 1450 cc - 2 wheel drive, normally aspirated
Class 10: Modified cars 1451 cc to 1650 cc, not more than 2 valves per cylinder, 2 wheel drive,
normally aspirated.
Class 11: Modified cars 1451 cc to 1650 cc, more than 2 valves per cylinder, 2 wheel drive,normally
aspirated.
Class 12: Modified cars 1651 cc to 2050 cc, not more than 2 valves per cylinder, 2 wheel drive,
normally aspirated.
Class 13: Modified cars 1651 cc to 2050 cc, more than 2 valves per cylinder, 2 wheel
drive, normally aspirated.
Class 14: Modified cars 2051 cc to 3500 cc, 2 wheel drive, normally aspirated or turbo
charged. See note 2 as per Appendix “29” MI Yearbook 2008.
Class 15: Four-wheel drive whose homologation has expired and other specified cars.

Class 16: Junior. As defined in MI Yearbook ’08, joining for SS5-SS9. Appendix 25 article 3.1.2
